Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address and your phone number with country code (both required to join), which brand you're waiting for, and, for Ritual 02, the seafood you picked. We also keep a record of the consent you gave, when, where, and the exact wording you saw.
- Ritual 02 poll: which seafood you've cooked at home recently, the last seafood dish you made if you choose to say, and, only if you choose to answer, your gender (or your own description of it). To stop repeat votes and abuse we keep scrambled (hashed) versions of a random browser ID and your network address, never the address itself. Voting needs no email or phone. If you later join the Ritual 02 waitlist, your sign-up is linked to your poll answers.
- Contact form: your name, email, the topic and message, and, if you add them, your company, title and website. We use them only to reply to you; sending a message doesn't sign you up for anything.
- On your device: the site remembers small things in your browser's storage, like which kitchen items you've found.
How we use it
- Email: launch updates, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- Phone: Phone number is required to join this waitlist. We'll save it with your sign-up details. We won't send marketing texts without your separate consent. We don't send text messages at this time.
- Poll answers: to decide what to make. We look at them only in total.
Who helps us
- Supabase stores our waitlist sign-ups.
- Google (Google Sheets) stores the Ritual 02 poll answers.
- Klaviyo sends our emails. When you join the waitlist we send Klaviyo your email address, your phone number (saved as a profile detail only, not as a text-message subscription), the brand you're waiting for, where you signed up, and, for Ritual 02, your seafood picks and a reference to your poll answer.
- Web3Forms delivers Contact us messages to our inbox.
- Vercel hosts this website.
They process data for us under their own security terms. We don't sell your personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, and California residents have additional rights under California law. Email contact@hesstia.co and we'll respond.
